We have had a fantastic start to the year! The children have begun to unpack what makes a 'Remarkable Learner' and have created wonderful learning environments to begin their 2012 learning journey.

Our logo is made up of five peaks
Pohatu        Wai        Flora       Whenua        Irirangi
Each peak represents a key element that encompasses Remarkables Primary School. 

So what is Irirangi? 
The Remarkables mountain range leads our eyes skyward and provides an
inspiring backdrop to our school. The cloud formation represents the idea of reaching
 for the sky, having aspirations and following your pathway.

So what is a pod?
A pod is known as a learning community and will have a Learning Community Leader. Each pod has 4 classrooms. The names of each pod are tied into the five peaks logo-
 Irirangi (Sky), Whenua (Earth), Wai (Water), Ahuwhenua (Fauna), Pohatu (Minerals).
